Rupert Everett once again left his viewers shocked when he made some lewd comments on BBC One's Breakfast program. Although the 48-year-old openly gay actor was interrupted by the show's host before going any further, a spokeswoman for the channel said they received three complaints from viewers.
The British actor was promoting his memoir, Red Carpets and Other Banana Skins, when he leapt back in his childhood days and described how he would go to "dark and sexy" provincial theatres and find a place "place where you got to finger your girlfriend a little bit."
Rupert was immediately interrupted by the show's horrified hosts Suzanna Reid and Charlie Stayt, who reminding the actor that the interview was going out live.
A spokeswoman for the channel acknowledged that Rupert made "inappropriate" comment but said it sometimes happens on live broadcasts "when we have no control over what our guests say."
The last time, Rupert caused chaos was in Sept 2006 on a radio show when the actor said his heterosexual affairs were a result of his adventurous nature.
