Angelina Jolie may be facing some post-adoption drama concerning her second child Zahara.

The child's blood family, who live in the small town of Awassa in Ethiopia want the two year old toddler back.

According to In Touch Magazine, Zahara's birth mother is living well and does not have AIDS. During Zahara's adoption, it was believed that she was an AIDS orphan.

The family told local officials that the adoption wasn't formally done and they were misinformed into thinking that the child would be made available for visits back home. Zahara's aunt, Zinash Haile Yenero, told In Touch Magazine, "After they took the baby, they didn't keep in contact. They didn't tell us anything about her."

A source close to Angelina says that the actress is sympathetic to Zahara's biological parents but "'feels on a deeper level that Zahara is part of her family."

Papers released during the adoption states that Zahara was born as an AIDS orphan.

Adoption specialist Jerri Jenista tells that there may be more to this than just media buzz.

Jerri says that the family has a chance of regaining custody of Zahara because of a loophole in the system. She said, "If some family member comes in and leaves the child at an orphanage and signs her over, and then the mother wants her back, you can make the argument that the person didn't truly understand that their child is gone forever."
