Zac Efron has been accepted to The University of Southern California.
The "High School Musical" heartthrob - who is now back in his hometown of Los Angeles after promoting new movie "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" across Europe - denied reports he is set to take over from Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway production of 'Equus', insisting he will soon be returning to education.
He said: "I was accepted to the film course at The University of Southern California (USC), but I deferred. I will be attending eventually. But not at this moment."
Zac, 20, also revealed he is absorbing information "every day" by working with experienced professionals in the movie industry.
He added: "I'm learning so much every day working with great directors. I just worked with Richard Linklater and Burr Steers and also Kenny Ortega. I'm working hand-in-hand with directors and taking home a lot of lessons."
It was recently reported Zac is set to team up with "High School Musical" director Kenny Ortega on a new film based on 1984 movie "Footloose."
