Zac Efron desperately wants to escape his fans. The "High School Musical" star has reportedly asked for a private tent on the set of his new film to hide from his adoring fans.
The heart throb is currently shooting his new film "17 Again" co-starring Matthew Perry in Los Angeles. Reports say that since the movie requires shooting in a high school campus, he had asked the producers a place to hide.
A source reveals, "Zac was petrified about being surrounded by students while shooting at a Los Angeles school, so he had producers erect a tent so he could duck into every time the school bell rang."
"The pitter-patter of teenage feet scared him so much he asked for a bell schedule so he could zoom into the tent before class finished."
Perhaps the 20-year-old Efron had a right to ask for a refuge since he is being "mobbed" pretty much every time his teenage fans get a glimpse of him.
The source adds, "Matthew [Perry] was mobbed by pretty fans at an L.A. burger joint, but they all switched their attention to Zac when he came in."
"17 Again" is a comedy movie tells the story of Mike O'Donnell (Perry) who got a second chance at being a popular 17-year-old again.
