Grammy award-nominated Yung Joc was arrested Sunday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport after a loaded gun was found in his luggage.
Jasiel A. Robinson, the 24-year-old rapper's real name, may face federal charges per the Air Piracy Act. He was released on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on felony charges for carrying a concealed weapon.
"Yung Joc maintains his innocence. He would appreciate privacy as he addresses these allegations," his attorney, Stanley Jackson Jr., says.
Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down" was nominated in 2006 MTV Video Music Award for Best Rap Song for 2007 Grammy Award also for Best Rap Song. The song reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. His album, "Hustlenomic$," was released August and debuted at Number three on The Billboard 200.
