"Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter is opening up about battling her demons and winning it. She reveals her alcoholic past and how she became sober in a new interview.

The 56-year-old actress told The Insider, "I needed help. I begged God in heaven to help me figure this out."

She said that although she was "brilliant" in hiding her problem, her attorney husband Robert Altman and their two children knew of her situation.

She continues, "My husband asked me... 'Can't you just stop this for the children and for me?'"

The actress finally entered rehab in Washington, D.C. after her husband's plea. She is sober for 10 years now.

Carter married Altman in 1984. They have two children together, 20-year-old James and 17-year-old Jessica.
