Just what is it about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that has us all so obsessed? With the addition of twins Knox and Vivienne to the Pitt-Jolie family, none of us can get enough of the couple or the first glimpse of their crinkly babies that put People magazine out of $14 million.

Sure, babies are precious. But Jolie and Pitt weren't the first to pop out babies this summer. In early June, Jessica Alba gave birth to her daughter. But no one paid Alba $14 million for the first pictures of her baby - OK! magazine bought them for a reported $1.5 mil. And even Jamie Lynn Spears, who gave birth later that month to her baby, did not cause as much of a fuss. OK! reportedly paid $1 mil for the first pics of that baby. We're not obsessed with Jamie Lynn, despite the controversy surrounding her getting knocked up at 16.

So what is it about Knox and Vivienne? Is it because they're twins? (Note - Jennifer Lopez was paid $6 million by People earlier this year for the first pics of her twins.) Is it because they definitely have "beautiful" in their genes? Is it because Brad and Angie come across as such perfect do-gooders? Maybe.

Still, one has to wonder just how happy their perfect family can really be. All that glamour and attention can't be normal at such a young age. Knox and Vivienne are three-weeks old and already are on the cover of People magazine and are a source of gossip and speculation and goggling. And the beautiful, blonde 2-year-old Shiloh can be seen holding Vivenne with her tiny nail-polished hands. That's right, a 2-year-old has pink and yellow nail polish on her fingernails. And if that's not enough, Maddox, who turns 7 today, already has blue hair dye streaked through his hair.

It is obvious that Brad and Angie take pride in their multi-cultural, attractive, perfect family - why else would they pose with their children for People? Oh, wait - it could be the $14 million, which is going to their charity foundation. Or maybe they do it because they know that we will eat it right up. Maybe we're heading for a Brangelina overload, but for the moment we can't get enough. So until the next publicity stunt, we'll be waiting to hear more about this gorgeous, unique little (did I just say little?) family.
