Amy Winehouse is no longer being investigated by police for suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband, her spokesman said on Friday. Her spokesman, Chris Goodman, released a statement on Friday stating that she will no longer be required to return to the police station for further questioning.
"Amy is pleased to be discounted from the investigation and thanks the police for their professionalism in their dealings with her," the statement said.
Winehouse, 24, was arrested back in December after being called to the police station on suspicion of "perverting the course of justice" which is the U.K.'s version of interfering with a police investigation.
According to the Associated Press, Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, appeared on Friday in a London court on charges of attacking a bartender and then later conspiring with him to keep him from testifying as a witness. Fielder-Civil confirmed his name and plead guilty to the charge. He is scheduled to appear again in court in April. Winehouse was not present in court because she was traveling to perform at a Louis Vuitton party in Paris.
Winehouse won five Grammy awards in February for best record, song of the year, best new artist, pop vocal album and best female pop performance.
