Will Newspaper Sue Britney Spears Now That Divorce Is Public?

The Irish Independent may be preparing to bring a lawsuit against pop singer Britney Spears now that her divorce with Kevin Federline is public.

Spears sued the paper for printing an article saying her marriage was in trouble. The Independent won the case, but at a "considerable expense."

Now, the paper may bring a suit to recover their court costs, plus a possible reward against the singer.

Irish Independent lawyer Simon McAleese tells RTE that the celebrity couple "must therefore pay the price of their fraud."
