After years of public fighting and tabloid drama, it may now all be coming to an end.
It's been revealed that music artists Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown are getting divorced. The divorce paperwork was filed sometime last week.
Sources have revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Whitney was the one who filed the paperwork.
According to Boston.com, her publicist, Nancy Seltzer confirmed the divorce.
`"I can just confirm that she has filed for divorce," said Seltzer.
Whitney and Bobby were known to have a highly dysfunctional and tumultuous relationship in the past, which consisted of ongoing controversy surrounding drugs. They recently appeared together on Bobby's own reality television show called "Being Bobby Brown" on Bravo. The show has not been signed on for a second season.
The couple have one 13-year old daughter together named Bobbi Kristina and had been married for 14 years,
On Tuesday, Whitney made a very rare public appearance at a tribute for Johnny Mathis in Beverly Hills. Without her husband, joining her at the event was music mogul Clive Davis.
