Anna Nicole Smith's will has officially been filed - so the court battles that could occur are endless.
The former playboy playmate was no stranger to legal battles in life and in death. The paternity of her daughter, Dannielynn, is the latest issue to be resolved.
Now that the will has been filed, Dannielynn's father, Larry Birkhead, has filed a petition to be named the guardian of his daughter's estate. The baby, who was originally named the child of Howard K. Stern, is Anna Nicole's only living child.
Ron Rale, one of the executors named on the will, told TMZ.com, "Contrary to any speculation, there is no way in the world that there is any petition to name Larry as a beneficiary of the estate in his individual capacity."
The will was filed by Anna Nicole's constant companion and lawyer, Howard K. Stern. He has waived the right to compensation as an executor.
At stake in the will is a reported $10,000 worth of personal property and $1.8 million in real property. However, Anna Nicole also had a mortgage valued at $1.1 million.
The former model had been fighting for her former husband's money in court. If the case continues, Dannielynn could be the sole heir to the multi-million dollar estate.
