After Jessica Simpson distracted quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo's game earlier this week, fans are beginning to wonder if she's really the cause of the ill-fated Dallas Cowboys game. So with that in mind, a web site called Ruin Romo wants to test the theory that Simpson is really Romo's bad luck.
RuinRomo.com urges fans of other NFL teams to download a Jessica Simpson mask from their site and wear at Romo's games. The Cowboys' next games are scheduled on Saturday at Carolina and next week at Washington.
"Help your team to victory by letting Tony Romo know the love of his life is in the stands!!!" The site says. "Celebrate after your team wins! Spread the word to everyone you know!!!"
The 27-year-old Blonde Ambition star watched Romo's game Sunday from a luxury box in a pink No.9 jersey, matching his blue one. She was blamed for the quarterback's poor performance and the team's loss to Philadelphia.
The fans have not been kind and accused her of being a jinx to Romo. Even teammate Terrell Owens had said she "was not a fan favorite" although he later apologized for his remarks.
