Actress Vivica A. Fox has been officially charged misdemeanor DUI from her March arrest.

The 43-year-old actress was arrested for Driving Under the Influence on March 20 this year after she passed a marked police car while going 80 mph on freeway.

Jessica Simpson was allegedly 11 hours late for a promotional interview.

The actress was due to speak to Lara Spencer of America's 'The Insider' show at 10am. However, Jessica didn't arrive until 9pm, leaving Laura - who had flown to Louisiana, where Jessica is currently filming new movie 'Major Movie Star', to conduct the interview - waiting for 11 hours.

Jessica Simpson is no diva, says her latest movie co-star. Vivica A. Fox, who appears alongside the busty blonde in 'Major Movie Star', insists rumors Jessica behaved like a spoilt brat throughout filming are just "vicious lies."

She told People magazine: "Those vicious lies they put out were just that - lies."

Jessica Simpson should be thanking her lucky stars that she is still being offered movie roles after "Blonde Ambition" and "The Dukes Of Hazard."

But the threat of another box office bomb has reportedly not stopped Jess from stretching her muscles as a diva on the set of "Major Movie Star."

Vivica A. Fox joined a growing list of drunk-driving celebrities on Tuesday night when she was pulled over under suspicion of DUI.

The "Soul Food" actress was caught speeding on the Hollywood Freeway at 80mph by a nearby patrol car and was demanded to take a sobriety test.
