Jennifer Aniston's ex-boyfriend Vince Vaughn reportedly disapproves of her new romance.
Jennifer - who is still friends with the 'Wedding Crashers' star despite their split in 2006 - has been warned by the actor that new lover John Mayer is using her for publicity.
According to National Enquirer magazine, Vince called Jennifer and said: "You can't be serious - this guy is just using you to make a name for himself."
Vince also implied John is notifying the media before appearing in public with the former 'Friends' actress.
However, Jennifer didn't take the warning seriously, and was said to be "highly amused by the whole conversation."
The source added: "She told Vince that in case he didn't notice, John already had quite a name for himself - with or without dating her - and if Vince didn't like the reports that were surfacing, he should stop reading the papers and spare himself a heart attack!"
Jennifer and John have been dating since last month.
