Victoria Beckham may be desperate to make a name for herself in the U.S., but for once fame does not come before family for the star.
The artist formally known as Posh Spice has put filming of her reality TV series on hold while she supports her husband's soccer career. Victoria has been in Los Angeles, busy filming the series that documents her move to Tinsel Town.
However, with David returning to England's national football team for a game against Brazil, Victoria pressed pause on the cameras.
According to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, Victoria said, "My family will always come before my career."
The mother-of-three revealed that she became emotional when David took to the field for England. The Sun newspaper quotes the stylish star as saying, "I was so proud of him. He was absolutely fantastic. The reception he got was phenomenal and it did bring a tear to my eye."
The reality series, however, will resume production. The Daily Mirror says that Posh "told producers she was not going to miss David's England game and they seemed unwilling to compromise... they seemed to expect filming to take precedence. It's a real sacrifice for her as the TV series was a great launch pad for her career [in the U.S.].
"But she felt she was being pushed into a corner and David was obviously always going to take priority."
So far, the TV show has featured Victoria doing every day tasks, such as getting her Los Angeles drivers license and getting pulled over by the police.
Her spokesperson said, "Victoria has had great fun filming the show. However the schedule was incredibly tight, and it is up to the network what happens next."
The famous British couple will officially move to Los Angeles at the beginning of July. They will be living close to BFF's Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
