Victoria Beckham has started speaking like Britain's Queen Elizabeth. The former Spice Girls singer - nicknamed Posh Spice - shocked audiences Tuesday when she unveiled her new "positively plummy" English accent during a TV interview in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old star - who has previously been mocked for her squeaky Cockney voice - sounded "exactly like" the 83-year-old monarch as she described her judging role in "American Idol."

A source said: "Victoria knows she has a very thick British accent and is sometimes misunderstood in America. She wanted to come across the best she could on 'American Idol,' so she took some private lessons on how to properly pronounce words and how to make appropriate facial expressions."

Victoria Beckham has had a new tattoo to celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary. The singer-turned-fashion-designer recently showed off the Hebrew inking on the inside of her left wrist, which she got to mark her devotion to soccer star husband David.

The tattoo reads: "Together forever, eternally."

Victoria Beckham is set to become a judge on "American Idol." The 35-year-old star has reportedly been approached by the show's producer Simon Fuller - who managed the Spice Girls and is an advisor to Victoria's husband David - about replacing Paula Abdul on the popular U.S. TV series.

Paula revealed she was quitting Wednesday. It is believed she made the decision following a row over pay.

David and Victoria Beckham are set to splash out on a $17 million London home. The former Spice Girls star has her sights set on a three-story house in the exclusive district of Chelsea, further fueling rumors David will soon leave Los Angeles Galaxy soccer club.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Victoria makes no secret of the fact she loves that house. She has had her eye on it for a while."

Tom Cruise is giving David and Victoria Beckham relationship advice. The Hollywood actor - who is married to Katie Holmes - has reportedly been telling his friends what they need to do in order to maintain a healthy balance between work and their private life.
