Posh Spice Victoria Beckham is considering filing a lawsuit against a U.K. magazine for publishing a "defamatory and blatantly untrue" article about her.

Now magazine had claimed the former Spice Girl was "hooked on sex and diet pill," an accusation that didn't sit well with Beckham. The story said that her sister, Louise, had been acquiring the pills for her in Britain and then shipping them to Los Angeles, where Posh is currently residing.

The article has since deleted from the publication's website.

Her agent, Jo Milloy, said on Monday that "The accusation is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue."

She added, "Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now with her lawyers."

It was not cleared whether a lawsuit has already been drawn in court.
