Super slim star Victoria Beckham would never be referred to as a cow for aesthetic reasons but Britain's most famous wife believes people think she has the personality of one.
Always composed in front of the cameras, the budding fashion icon says it is her reluctance to smile that has misled people.
Beckham says, "I blame it on the fact that people are intrigued by the miserable-looking cow they see in the papers. I think people have an impression that I am one way, and in actual fact I'm not really like that at all."
Once a world-famous singer with the "Spice Girls", Beckham has recently turned her love of fashion into a job by designing with label Rock & Republic, which has seen her undergo an image change from serious 'performer' to easy-going working mother of three.
