Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are becoming the best of friends - okay, maybe not, but close enough. The two brunettes have reportedly gone to Paris on a girls-only trip to indulge in some pampering and heavenly massages. Former Spice Girl Victoria, who is married to soccer star David, invited new mom Katie to join her for a two-day break in the French capital.
The "Batman Begins" actress - who gave birth to daughter Suri in April - was reportedly "overwhelmed with excitement" at the prospect of the trip and boarded a private jet from Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Victoria - better known as Posh Spice - will fly from Madrid to join Katie on Thursday.
A source revealed to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "Victoria and Katie have grown really close in recent months and they've been in touch every few days since Suri was born. Victoria thought Katie could do with a couple of days of 'me' time to indulge herself. They are both very excited about the trip."
The pair will have front row seats at all of the top catwalk shows at Paris Fashion Week.
The itinerary will also include designer shopping trips and exclusive pampering sessions.
Katie, 27, and Victoria, 32, became close after the actress began dating Tom Cruise, who is a friend of the Beckhams, last year.
