Verne Troyer's partner has revealed her life with the pint-sized star in full detail.
Aspiring actress Ranae Shrider, who stands 5 ft. 6 in. against Troyer's 2 ft. and 8 in., tells News of the World how she fell for the 39-year-old actor.
She says, "I never imagined one day I'd date a man who barely came up to my kneecaps. But as soon as I met Verne I was so captivated by his personality, his size didn't seem to matter."
Shrider, who handed the video tape to TMZ and who is currently scouting for the highest bidder of the tape, also detailed how she slept with Troyer. She even narrated an incident wherein he almost drowned in a bath tub she prepared for them.
And because she felt guilty for almost drowning him, she felt duty-bound to agree to a homemade video, the same one that is the subject of a $20 million-lawsuit Troyer filed against its distribution.
She continues, "Without a doubt there's nothing Verne enjoys more than seeing himself on screen. Watching his own films is his favorite hobby. So it was no surprise when he asked if he could film us."
Shrider says that because of his size, she felt more like a carer than his girlfriend. She also reveals the actor's alcohol problems, a addiction he developed after his two-month marriage to his wife failed.
She concludes, "We live in the same apartment but have separate rooms. I still care for Verne - but sadly Verne cares more about himself."
