Vanity Fair magazine shows its humorous side at the expense of Republican Senator John McCain. The presidential hopeful is the subject of the publication's In Touch Weekly spoof.

Naming their cover parody as "Out of Touch," Vanity Fair puts McCain on the cover, quoting his recent appraisal of the country's economy, "The Fundamentals of The Economy Are Strong!"

The magazine also inserts side stories ridiculing McCain and hinting at his senility, such as "Shiites or Sunnis? Addled Mac Can't Tell The Diff!", "Reader Contest! Help Gramps McCain Find The Keys To His 13 Cars!" and "Clueless McCain Threatens To Fire S.E.C. Chairman - Even Tho' Prez Has No Such Power!"
