Vanessa Minnillo will never propose to boyfriend Nick Lachey.
The 27-year-old star is reportedly keen for the pair to tie the knot, but believes it should always be the man who pops the question.
She said: "I know that a lot of girls nowadays are proposing to guys but I think I'll be old fashioned. I'll wait until I have grey hair before I propose!"
Vanessa was said to be disappointed Nick did not get down on one knee on Valentine's Day.
A source revealed: "She was really upset when she didn't get a ring on Valentine's Day. She had really got her hopes up that is was going to happen."
Nick's divorce from 'Dukes of Hazzard' star Jessica Simpson was finalized in June 2006, two months after he began dating Vanessa.
It was recently revealed Vanessa is set to make her debut film appearance in 'Redefining Love'.
She said: "This is going to be a good one to get my feet wet. I give the producers and writers credit for writing such a beautiful script and I hope to convey what they want - but I'm nervous."
