Val Kilmer has stolen Chad Lowe's girlfriend, it has been claimed. The 'Wonderland' star was pictured running hand-in-hand with producer Kim Painter - who has been dating Lowe for the last year - as they fled the paparazzi.
However, a representative for Lowe, who is currently starring in hit TV show '24', claims Painter and Kilmer are just good friends.
They told the New York Post newspaper: "Chad and Kim are madly in love. Val and Kim are old friends and were working in Los Angeles together."
Kilmer, 48, divorced his wife, actress Joanne Whalley in 1996. They have two children together, 16-year-old Mercedes and 12-year-old Jack. He is currently filming crime drama 'Felon' with Stephen Dorff in New Mexico.
Last week, he joined Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson and Katie Holmes at a lunch to mark the 10th anniversary of V-Day, a global effort to end violence against women and girls.
Lowe, 39, was married to Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank for nine years, but they split in 2005. He announced he was dating Painter in January last year.
