Jessica Simpson reportedly plans to call her baby Ace.
The 'Fashion Star' mentor and her fiancé Eric Johnson - who are already parents to nine-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew - are said to have told friends what they are going to call their impending new arrival, but haven't explained the inspiration behind the name.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: ''She's told people she's going to name the baby Ace!''
While the 32-year-old blonde is pregnant with her second child, she is still very focused on Maxwell and is astonished at some of the things she has mastered at such a young age.
She tweeted: ''Maxwell can whistle on cue at 9 months! Heck I'm still learning! This lil human impresses me everyday. (sic)''
Though Jessica and Eric, 33, haven't confirmed the reports of the baby's name, insiders correctly predicted their daughter's moniker some time before she was born.
And the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star herself spoke about choosing Maxwell Drew - whose moniker comes from Eric's middle name and grandmother's surname, and Jessica's mother Tina's maiden name - admitting it was meaningful but not ''shocking''.
Speaking before her daughter was born, she said: ''It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it they'll know ...why.''
