Christina Applegate is leaving 'Up All Night'.

The 41-year-old actress' departure from the Lorne Michael's produced show just one month after the departure of creator and executive producer Emily Spivey, leaves the NBC sitcom's future in doubt as Christina played one of the two leads opposite Will Arnett.

Christina said in a statement: ''It's been a great experience working on 'Up All Night', but the show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on.

''Working with Lorne Michaels has been a dream come true and I am grateful he brought me into his TV family. I will miss the cast, producers and crew, and wish them the best always.''

'Up All Night' has recently been revamped from a single camera show to a multicamera (traditional) format but it has yet to film any of the five episodes in front of a live audience that had been planned.

According to Deadline, former 'Friends' star Lisa Kudrow is being lined up as a replacement for Christina.

Christina is currently preparing to reprise her role as reporter Veronica Corningstone in 'Anchorman 2'.
