Kellan Lutz hates being away from his girlfriend.
The 'Twilight Saga' hunk is head over heels in love with former 'Home and Away' actress Sharni Vinson - who he has been dating for just over a year - and says one of the perks of his job is that she gets to travel with him so they don't have to be apart.
He told Us Weekly magazine: ''I get to bring Sharni along on these amazing press trips, she exudes this pure, joyful energy. I just want to be around her.''
However, when they are not travelling Kellan, 27 and Sharni, 29, try to keep a low profile and stay away from the typical Hollywood lifestyle.
He explained: ''We just stay a normal couple. You can't live your life the industry way.''
Kellan recently revealed he likes helping old ladies carry their shopping out of grocery stores.
He said: ''I am a big helper at grocery stores. The other day at the store there was an old lady that was sweet as a button - I feel like she came out of an animated movie - and I asked if she wanted some help, and we got talking. She had such great life stories, and I had fun lifting the bags she had.
She was like, 'Can I tip you?' I was like, 'No, no. I just had some time on my hands.'''
