Amy Winehouse's family are devastated after thieves stole £130,000 worth of her dresses.

The late 'Back To Black' singer's father Mitch has revealed that two of her old dresses - including the wedding gown she wore during her Miami nuptials with Blake Fielder-Civil in 2006 - were stolen from the Camden, North London property in which she tragically died in July 2011 at the age of 27.

The 60-year-old told The Sun newspaper: ''It's a blow. It's sickening that someone would steal something in the knowledge of its sentimental value.''

The other dress was a newsprint cocktail number worn by the troubled singer - who battled addictions with alcohol and drugs - on Jools Holland's popular BBC music show six years ago and both dresses were due to be auctioned in New York later this year to raise money for the family's charity The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which has raised more than £1 million to date and funds a number of charities including children's hospices and drug counselling services.

The wedding dress was expected to raise £100,000 and the TV dress £30,000.

Mitch said: ''The house in Camden is being sold so all of her possessions have been tagged, numbered and logged in preparation of storage.

''There was a window of about two days while that process was underway when the dresses could have been taken.

''A few people were involved and there was some coming and going.

''We're going through everything else to see what else, if anything, has been lifted.

''We are all baffled as to why some of her designer dresses didn't go too. There were a couple from Dolce & Gabbana worth a fortune.

''Her wedding dress was only a little cotton thing, a hundred quid at best in the shops. Whoever nicked it realised its significance and knew it had an extra value.''
