Eva Longoria is pickier about who she works with in Hollywood.
The former 'Desperate Housewives' actress is determined to enjoy her time acting and presenting and admitted she is trying to collaborate with people who are her friends.
She said: ''Life's so short. You should be surrounded by people who make each other better people.''
The 37-year-old star admitted that George Lopez is one of her favourite people to be around in the industry and he will be her co-host at the Latin community's ALMA Awards later this month.
She continued to website People.com: ''We're in a stage in our lives where we've done a lot in our careers and we work with people we want to work with.
''I love being George's sidekick for the night. I set up the jokes and he knocks them out of the park. He's the funniest guy around.''
She is looking forward to hosting the ceremony with him for the third time.
George said about Eva: ''There's a mutual respect and a lot of love. Also, I think Eva is, without question, one of the funniest, most spontaneous people I've ever met.''
The show - during which Christina Aguilera will receive a special achievement award - will feature presentations by stars including, Jake Gyllenhaal and Devious Maids cast members Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Edy Ganem and Judy Reyes.
