Snooki's birth will feature on her reality show.
The 24-year-old star - whose real name is Nicole Polizzi - and fiance Jionni LaValle welcomed son Lorenzo Dominic into the world on Sunday (26.08.12) and cameras from 'Snooki & JWoww' were on hand to capture the moment.
A source said: ''There was a camera crew from 495 Productions, which produces 'Snooki & Jwoww,' and they were in Snooki's hospital room in the hours leading up to her birth.
''Viewers will see Snooki in labour and the camera crew was kicked out as she was about to give birth.
''However, Snooki's fiance, Jionni LaValle, was using a personal camcorder and he carried on filming.''
However, insiders insist the footage shot by Jionni was tasteful and won't upset viewers, the new mother or fellow patients at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey.
The source added to RadarOnline.com: ''Jionni only filmed at Snooki's head though, so viewers will most likely see very little footage of the actual birth.
''Lorenzo was ready for his proud parents to show him off to the world and was filmed hours after the birth. It was done very tastefully and with respect to Snooki and other patients at the New Jersey hospital.''
