Robert Pattinson perfected his Spanish accent for a film role by copying ex-Liverpool Football Club manager Rafa Benitez.
The 'Twilight' actor says his accent when he played artist Salvador Dali was Spanish with a ''Scouse twang''.
The 26-year-old star - who recently split from Kristen Stewart after she cheated on him - was talking about 2008 film 'Little Ashes' while he was in New York this week.
He said: ''It was an accent I learned from watching interviews with the manager of Liverpool Football Club - a Liverpudlian-Spanish accent, that's what I was doing.''
This is the second time he has talked about 'Little Ashes' this summer after admitting he bears more than a passing resemblance to porn star-turned alleged cannibal killer Luka Magnotta.
Talking about his role, Robert said: ''I did this movie about Salvador Dali a few years ago and had hair extensions and a little bob.
''I had my whole body waxed as well because Dali didn't haven't any body hair.
''It was the most terrifying thing - and this is bad - but I saw the potential cannibal guy and I looked a bit like him.''
