David Beckham wants his children to live in America for years to come so his four children can grow up normally.
The soccer player - who has three sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, plus a daughter, Harper Seven, almost one - believe they would be able to enjoy their childhood more in the United States.
He said: ''The kids are a number one priority and for the last five years they have been incredibly happy here.
''They go to school and are treated like normal kids, whereas maybe in Europe it's been different for us.
Speaking at a lunch honouring the legends of his LA Galaxy team, he added: ''The attention we had there as a family and on our kids was a lot more intense.''
''For the kids to be brought up around this atmosphere and this way of living is the most important thing.''
