Tony Parker is recovering after undergoing surgery linked to the bar brawl between Drake and Chris Brown last week.
The NBA star is in Paris after having eye surgery to repair the corneal laceration he suffered at a New York City nightclub in the early-morning hours of June 15.
Tony - who is former 'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria's ex-husband - had his attorney Elizabeth Eilender speak out his plans to take part in the London 2012 Olympics.
She told E! Online: ''We hope and expect he will be able to play, but that is between him and his doctor.''
The sportsman is hoping to represent his home country of France at the event.
He is suing the nightclub that he was injured in for $20 million, claiming it should never have let Rihanna's exes in at the same time.
The San Antonio Spurs star filed the lawsuit against W.i.P. Nightclub on Thursday (22.06.12) in New York State Supreme Court and in the paperwork he alleges that the club's security was negligent for allowing the fight to ever happen, according to TMZ.com.
