Hugh Hefner feels like one of the ''luckiest'' people alive.
The 86-year-old Playboy founder - who recently reunited with former fiancee Crystal Harris, who walked out on him days before they were due to marry in June 2011 - is thrilled he has managed to achieve all the ''impossible dreams'' he had when he was younger.
He said: ''It's nice to be alive.
''I grew up a dreamer in a very typical conservative American home. But I dreamed impossible dreams and they came true.
''I am one of the luckiest cats on the planet.''
The media mogul has been working with his sons
Marston, 22, and Cooper, 20, on the Playboy Jazz Festival and loves that they share the same tastes in music.
He told RadarOnline.com: ''They are very special kids, the fact that we share a love of this music is remarkable.''
Hugh believes the most important advice he can give anyone is to follow their dreams and ''celebrate'' their passions.
He said: ''I think that life is short and one should hold on to their own personal dreams and pursue them. I can recommend nothing more than doing what really love and celebrating that and celebrating those that you love.''
