Pete Doherty enjoyed a brief affair with Charlotte Gainsbourg.
The former Libertines rocker - who previously romanced Kate Moss - claims he and his 'Confessions of a Young Contemporary' co-star had a romance when they worked together which split up Charlotte's relationship with her boyfriend but she quickly tired of Pete's drug taking and party lifestyle.
He told NME magazine: ''[It was] off . But on set there were these love scenes. The only problem was those love scenes appeared before we actually made love in real life.
''She left her fella and moved to London ... but put it this way, she was back in Paris four days later. I think the lifestyle I was living at the time, she wasn't accustomed to.''
Although Pete is still taking drugs, he claims he has made plans to go to rehab in April.
In a text to the magazine, he added: ''It's Pete Doherty. Thought you might be interested to know that I'm booked in to go to rehab at the end of April.''
The 33-year-old singer/songwriter admits he is ''kind of sticking'' to his February pledge to give up injecting heroin
He explained: ''I'm kind of sticking to that. It's a huge difference. Just because it comes to be the focal point of the hour, or the day. Or the afternoon. Getting the gear and ... it's just handing yourself completely over to your addiction.''
