Miranda Kerr thinks motherhood is the ''best thing'' that's ever happened to her.

The Victoria's Secret model - who has a 14-month-old son, Flynn, with husband Orlando Bloom - loves being a mum but she isn't ready to expand her brood until her tot is at least three because she wants to devote all her attention to Flynn.

She told Australia's 2Day FM: ''I want to spend as much time with Flynn as I can, and I'd want to put a lot of energy into him.

''He's the most beautiful thing, the best thing that's ever happened to me. It's wonderful.''

The 28-year-old beauty has previously explained nobody has ever had a bigger impact on her life than her ''little man'' Flynn, as motherhood put the rest of her life ''into perspective''.

Miranda said: ''I'd say what makes me happy is having this little man. I'm the happiest when I'm surrounded by those I love and we are in a natural environment.

''It's the best thing I've ever done. Becoming a mother puts everything into perspective. You become more comfortable in your own skin.''
