Sting and wife Trudie Styler once had sex in the bathroom of a New York club.
The couple are famed for their erotic sex life and Trudie admits one time when they visited the Top of the Standard in New York, they couldn't keep their hands off each other so went to the unisex toilets to make love.
According to the New York Daily News newspaper, she told pals in an elevator going up to the nightspot: ''I had sex with my husband in a bathroom here once.
''We were just checking out the toilets.''
Sting, 60, and 58-year-old Trudie have never been shy when it comes to discussing their love life and the singer recently revealed they like to ''dress up'' to spice things up.
He said: ''When we see each other, it's romance. I don't think pedestrian sex is very interesting. There's a playfulness we have; I like the theatre of sex.
''I like to look good. I like her to dress up. I like to dress her up.''
The couple - who have been married for 19 years and have four children together - have long been rumoured to be practitioners of tantric sex, a practice which has its roots in Hinduism, and sees couples lock into static 'sexual embrace' to make love for hours at a time.
However, Sting has said this is more than simply a physical practice, saying in 2003: ''Sex is only the surface. Tantra is much too complex for me to discuss. But it's about reconnecting with the world of the spirit through everyday things. My church happens to be the person I live with. She is my connection to the sacred.''
