Helen Mirren hopes Katy Perry and Russell Brand will get back together in the future.
The Oscar-winning actress - who has been a friend of the couple since she starred alongside Russell in 'Arthur' last year - admitted it is "very hard" to keep high-profile marriages afloat, and thinks the pair could reignite their romance later on in life.
She told In Touch magazine: "It's very hard to keep things going. Maybe they'll come back together again later on in life! They're both very, very successful."
However, Katy's Christian pastor parents Mary and Keith Hudson are said to be keen for her to move on from the breakdown of her 14-month marriage with religious NFL star Tim Tebow.
A source told the New York Daily Post newspaper: "Katy's mentioned on more than one occasion how much she likes Tim.
"Katy's mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again. In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He's handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian."
Russell, 36, filed for divorce from the singer on December 30 and it has been speculated that one of the reasons for the split could be because he is not Christian and kept making jokes about the family's faith.
Last year, Katy said: "Russell has made very blasphemous jokes in the past, but he's making fewer all the time because he knows that I am very sensitive about this subject."
