Courtney Love has praised Gwyneth Paltrow as a "true friend".
The Hole rocker and the 'Contagion' actress spent New Year's Eve (31.12.11) together in Abu Dhabi where Gwyneth's husband Chris Martin was paid $1.5 million to play a special gig with his band Coldplay and Courtney revealed she had taken time out of their celebrations to get some advice from Gwyneth.
Posting a picture of the pair together on her twitter account, she wrote: "getting the best advise for the new years from a true friend, love you @GwynethPaltrow @Goop xoxo (sic)."
Gwyneth isn't the only high profile celebrity Courtney has been in contact with on the micro blogging site, she has also left messages for former 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant Kirstie Alley and 'Gladiator' actor Russell Crowe.
She wrote to Russell: "@russellcrowe Hey love, did you just get my text? Xoxo" and added in a tweet to Kirstie "Happy new year @kirstiealley this is to waking up with hangovers with you this year! and then doing it all over again xo that sounded dirty (sic)."
