Liza Minnelli broke her leg after tripping over her dog.
The 65-year-old Hollywood legend bust her right limb in three places after accidentally falling over her pet pooch.
The 'Cabaret' star was spotted being pushed around New York in a wheelchair and told reporters how she hurt herself.
She said: "I've busted my leg in three places, generally that calls for concern."
When asked by TMZ.com "how did this happen?" she replied: "I tripped over my dog. Of all things I've done and I break my leg tripping over my dog!"
Perhaps Liza will be nursed back to health by one of the "few people" she is dating.
The singer-and-actress - who was previously wed to cabaret performer Peter Allen, director Jack Haley, Jr. sculptor Mark Gero and 'Michael Jackson: Life of an Icon' producer David Gest - recently revealed she is romancing more than one man and has stopped taking relationships seriously.
She said: "I'm just seeing a few people. I have a couple of people and I'm not saying anything else, so let's not go there.
"Why on earth should I get married? I can't have kids. When you get to a certain age it's not important anymore. It's different for everybody, but for me it's just ridiculous. If you love somebody, you love them."
