Marc Jacobs and Jenny Packham were the big names to show at New York Fashion Week yesterday (12.09.11).
Marc - who is reportedly set to take over at Christian Dior - showcased his latest collection Marc for Marc Jacobs, which highlighted a grown-up and minimal look with simple shapes and bold shades.
While Marc went for minimal looks, Jenny wowed with beautiful exquisite floor-length dresses from her spring/summer 2012 collection and her designs are bound to be seen on Duchess Catherine, who is a big fan of the label.
Earlier in the day, model-of-the-moment Coco Rocha took to the catwalk to model Zac Posen's collection after he returned to New York following two years in Paris.
His theme was based on old school Hollywood glamour and his red carpet offering in pale grey, gold, black and jade impressed the audience.
Other highlights from yesterday's shows included Carolina Herrera, who showcased dresses and skirts covered in a green and yellow bird print and Tommy Hilfiger paid homage to the 60s with a fusion of preppy and pop.
Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe also debuted her first catwalk collection, which included printed maxi dresses, shorts, blazers and jumpsuits.
