Duchess Catherine is Sarah Jessica Parker's style icon.
The 'I Don't Know How She Does It' actress admires the way a number of high-profile women dress, including the 29-year-old royal - who is married to Britain's Prince William - late actress Ingrid Bergman and supermodel Kate Moss.
Asked who her style icon is, she said: "So many. Ingrid Bergman & the way Kate Moss dresses & the Duchess of Cambridge."
The actress is best known for playing stylist Carrie Bradshaw in 'Sex and the City' and revealed her favorite outfit she ever wore on the program was a tutu.
Asked for her favorite Carrie outfit in a twitter webchat for Glamour magazine, she said: "The tutu in Paris. It was a real tutu & I'm sure it was from the Royal Ballet."
Sarah is also hoping to see American designers take more risks as she thinks fashion in the US is changing.
She said: "British fashion is more risky but we have some emerging American designers that seem inspired in that direction."
The 46-year-old star also admitted she would like to venture into fashion design again.
Asked if she would consider another clothing line, she replied: "Definitely if I can figure out what it is I want to do."
