Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams are to work on a clothing line together.
The '99 Problems' rapper's fashion house Rocawear has partnered with the 'Can I Have It Like That' hitmaker's label Billionaire Boys Club to create a new range.
The news was confirmed by Jay-Z on his twitter page, following a report by GQ magazine which claimed Rocawear had bought the licensing to manufacture and distribute Billionaire Boys Club.
Jay-Z tweeted: "Partnering with @4real4rell on BBC' follow him.. (Not 'buying' as GQ erroneously reported.) (sic)"
Rocawear was created in 1999 by Damon Dash and Jay-Z and now boasts annual sales of around $700million, while Billionaire Boys Club was established in 2005 by Williams and Nigo, founder of Japanese clothing company BAPE.
Jay-Z recently spoke about Rocawear and his decision to expand the label into the mainstream.
He said: "We are a great American brand. We don't envision ourselves as an urban brand or streetwear brand. We wanted to show people how we've evolved and repositioned ourselves, without abandoning our original DNA."
