Jennifer Lopez will "need an eyelift" when 'American Idol' is over.
The 41-year-old star - who joins Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson on the judging panel of the talent search show - reportedly told friends she spends hours in tears after having to send home hopefuls, and is going to require surgery once the series comes to an end.
She is quoted by National Enquirer magazine as saying: "I'm going to need an eye lift when this show is over. All I do is cry all the time."
The singer-and-actress recently admitted the numerous years she has spent in the music business allow her to understand the predicament of the performers in the auditions.
Jennifer explained: "I love it. Honestly, with all the experience I've had over the years, it's like, what do you do with it? Steven, he's been on the scene for 40 years touring. You have so much information, you have so much experience and so many little titbits you don't even realize you have in your mind.
"You see someone perform, and you're in the position to go, 'Hey, you know what? Why don't you think about this? You know what I see? I see this.' "
