Cheryl Cole will break the US because she has her "own vibe" going on.
Black Eyed Peas star Taboo - who is in the band with apl.d.ap, Fergie and Cheryl's long-term musical collaborator will.i.am - claims the British star, who is among a host of names in contention for a judging role on the US version of pop star search show 'The X Factor', will eventually become a big hit in the country.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Cheryl Cole is a very inspirational person. We actually got to hang out with her on tour and share all the success.
"She's got her own vibe going on and she's a very caring woman, and we just hope that she can do it."
Despite his enthusiasm for Cheryl, Taboo is not sure if a duet between the band and the Girls Aloud singer would work.
Asked about the possibility of a collaboration, he said: "No, not at the moment."
Discussing 'The X Factor', Taboo wouldn't want a role in the show because he loves his own "day job" in the Black Eyed Peas.
He said: "I like my day job. I like being part of the Black Eyed Peas, they have their own thing going on. I think my day job is pretty fresh. I don't know if I'd have time for that."
