Willow Smith has 'affinity' with Gaga

Willow Smith has a great "affinity" with Lady Gaga.

The 10-year-old singer - who like the 'Born This Way' hitmaker is known for her love of eccentric clothing - has a great relationship with the pop star, something her mother Jada Pinkett Smith thinks is "very good for her development".

Speaking at the launch of Sony Entertainment Television - which begins broadcasting on April 7 on Sky Channel 157 - Jada told BANG Showbiz: "It's funny, I love that she has her affinity for Lady Gaga and Lady Gaga has a lot of affinity for Willow. She has her relationships that I think are very good for her development."

The 39-year-old actress - who raises Willow and 12-year-old son Jaden with her actor husband Will Smith, who also has a teenage son Trey from his previous marriage - also revealed her daughter likes to raid her closet for clothes, but she is more than happy to share her wardrobe, even though it often results in her clothes being cut up.

She said: "Willow goes in my closet and she steals all my clothes. To the point now where she can wear my pants - although they are a little baggy on her - and my jackets.

"And she tells me the things to get rid of that are old. So I pretty much listen to that. And she says, 'You should let me have this and I can cut it up,' and I just go, 'OK! Go ahead, take it, do what you want.' So she pretty much takes my stuff and sees what it can do for her. So she doesn't do anything for me besides just taking it."
