Vintage 50s glamour is set to be the hottest trend for the next two seasons.
While edgier rock-chic looks were favored by many celebrities for much of 2010, the lady-like look is now making a huge comeback, with floral prints and prom-style dresses being key to any closet over this spring and summer.
According to fashion gurus Victoria Reddington and Dawn Hunter - the power behind online boutique fashionpony.co.uk - Rihanna is leading the fashion revolution after swapping ripped jeans and hi-tops for cute dresses and heels.
Victoria said: "This spring/summer on-trend designs are those which reflect a more womanly likeness, inspired by A-list celebrities like Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie and Rihanna. Sex appeal and vintage glamour are this season's buzz words, replacing the rock chic inspired trends we saw in 2010."
Designers like Gucci, Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Victoria Beckham are reflecting this trend in their latest collections but for those without the bank balances of A-list stars, there are more affordable options.
Fashion Pony offer a range of on-trend designs for day or evening wear and can be worn day and night, and can be found at www.fashionpony.co.uk.
