Dame Helen Mirren needs make-up to look good.
The 64-year-old actress - who is known for her enviable, toned figure - claims she maintains her youthful appearance by cheating with make-up.
Looking stunning at the London premiere of new movie 'RED' in a flowing black chiffon coat and scoop-necked black dress with a bright-red sash at her waist, the actress said her look takes some time to achieve.
When asked about her style secrets, she told BANG Showbiz: "How do I stay looking so good? Probably an hour's worth of make-up with a great make-up artist."
The British star admitted earlier this year that she would love to have cosmetic surgery, saying she often thinks about going under the knife and insists she would have had procedures done "years ago" if she wasn't in the public eye.
She said: "I'd think about it even more if I was in a different profession. If I wasn't on camera I would have had it done years ago.
"It's the full-on for me. Suck it all up, tie it up and then cut it all off!"
