Naomie Harris would never want to live in Hollywood.

The British actress - who starred in the second and third 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies - enjoys going to Los Angeles for work but she couldn't be there permanently because she doesn't respect the ethics of the movie business.

Naomie - who lives in north London near her family - said: "To work, there's just no place better - but when it comes to living there it's just not my town. I don't admire the ethics of the business, and the way that success and money are seen as being the ideal goal for people. I just don't value that."

The 33-year-old screen beauty also claims Hollywood is full of phoney people who are overly nice but don't really mean what they say.

She added to Live magazine: "Hollywood 'friends' are only after one thing. They're looking out for the next big thing and they don't want to miss out on you just in case. And it's so small a community that everything gets out. And everyone is so nice - that's obviously not true! I was so naive I thought everyone meant everything they said! It took me a long time to realise that they didn't mean it when they said, 'Come over and stay, come and visit.' "
