Michael Douglas has hinted he takes Viagra.
The 'Wall Street' actor insists the 25-year age gap between himself and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, 40, doesn't matter because "wonderful" medical enhancements mean he can compete with her in the romance stakes.
He said: "At least in your head, your fire burns as brightly. Let's not kid ourselves. But God bless her that she likes older guys. And some wonderful enhancements have happened in the last few years - Viagra, Cialis - that can make us all feel younger."
Michael - who has children Dylan, nine, and six-year-old Carys with Catherine - also spoke about how much his family has changed his outlook on life.
He told AARP magazine: "My career was the most important thing in my life, followed by marriage and children. And it's completely reversed now. I never anticipated starting a family and the joy of raising kids at my age. I think it's easier for me to be a good father."
However, he admitted he had let down 31-year-old son Cameron- his child from his marriage to Diandra Luker - who is currently facing drug charges, by not being in his life enough.
He said: "I'll assume whatever responsibilities I have to. Would it have been better to have been around more? Absolutely. There were absences, and I was no angel.
"Cameron has a lot of life ahead. He now recognizes his own demons and struggles. He's a tough kid. Still, he's in a federal prison, and you've got some big, bad boys down there."
