Katie Holmes has defended letting her three-year-old daughter wear high-heeled shoes.
The 'Mad Money' actress insists the footwear she bought for Suri - her child with husband Tom Cruise - are actually supporting her feet and she is happy to let her child mimic her fashion choices.
She said: "She, like every little girl, she loves my high heels.
"They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them."
Tom has previously spoken out about Suri's choice of footwear, insisting she is very "strong willed" about her appearance.
He said: "The other day, Kate showed her some gold-coloured sneakers thinking she might like to wear them, and she looked at them and said, 'Oh mommy, these are lovely, but they're boy shoes.'
"She's sweet, but she's very strong-willed - just like her mother."
It was recently claimed Katie spends over $25,000 a month on Suri's wardrobe as she is determined to have the "best dressed kid in Hollywood".
